With the excitement of a new job and new accommodtion and new people to meet and all the experiences of a season working in the snow, it can come as a real jolt if something happens not to go to plan and you find yourself stuck far from home and all the familiar faces and places you know.
So whom do you turn to, whan life doesn't go as planned?
Well, we would like to put up our hand and offer all our seasonal visitors a warm welcome and a friendly helping hand.
The Alpine Congregation of the Uniting Church has been doing so for over 100 years, so we do know something about what it takes to get by down here in the Snowies.
This year we have all the regular services like the Chaplaincy to the resorts, the Mobile Op-Shop, and the Sunday gathering and morning tes commencing at 9.30 a.m.
In addition, our Saturday night Soup has been joined by Wood-fired Pizzas at 5.30 p.m. making this almost impossible to pass up!
We are hee to help, we are here to talk, we are here to introduce you to our friends, including our God, who is just waiting to meet you.
Jesus said: "Never will I leave you and never will I let you down".
If you need some help to make this season the best in your life, then we are here to help
