So Why Don't You?
As we go through life, we can come to points where we look back and see opportunities we could have taken or circumstances that have led us away from our goals and dreams and find ourselves thinking "If only.... I would have...."
When we share these lost opportunities or unfulfilled dreams with our friends we are sometimes greated with the response, "So why don't you do it now?" or " So what's stopping you from trying again?"
As I read through the early census data (I really do need to get a more exciting life, I know) I see that we are a spiritual nation, but that it is not really based on much. We want to believe in something but we just don't know who or what. The risk with that is we can end up with a mish mash of beliefs that won't really help us.
Each of us has been created with a Spiritual element. It is a God sized space that needs filling and the only one who can really fill that space is God.
There may be a whole range of reasons why we haven't really given God a chance to fill that space before, but I want to ask you the question straight up: " So Why Don't You?"
God is just waiting for the invitation to come in and fill the space (Revelation 3:20). Why waste another minute trying on spiritual fixes that just don't fit? I promise you, God is the real deal.
